So there's this incident which i felt embarrassed i had to put it off my chest.

Heard about Royce chocs? I was at the Ion(often misprounced as ee-on or eye-ong) outlet shopping for chocs. You feel elated after eating their chocs despite burning a hole in your pocket hahaha. There i was trying out the flavours that are available and one guy attended to me. I tried the first piece which has an 'au lait' flavour. Obviously i had to make out what it contains, who da hell knows what 'au lait' means right. The shop attendant then asked 'so how do you find the first piece that you've tried....(blah blah)? And since i was so engrossed in tasting that piece of choc just so to find out what it contains, i replied perfunctorily and in a super sg tone, 'uh, okay only lor'. Then i heard giggles from mervyn. Oh gosh, totally not the most appropriate comment to give in a shop with classy settings. hahahha. I felt like that guy gave me a 'you're-sucha-nubcake' look.

LOL. But then again, what else can i say right? 'Oh, its gastronomic! The taste of cocoa livened up my taste buds as if they started to dance on my tongue. I felt like i was on cloud nine." Haha no right?

I typed out the whole chunk of shit just to justify that any mother's son wouldnt have been able to provide a suitable reply hence the embarrassement was inevitable. Morale of the story - bloody expand the range of my vocabulary!

Another amusing incident that happened when i was..primary 5.

Heard of 白痴造句?yes i am a victim of that. haha. i remembered i was given a 完成句子exercise to complete. if you have forgotten, it is one where you have to complete the sentence when only the first or the last phrase was given to you. one of the questions was as such

与其到处闲逛, _________________.

what would you write? my answer was...

还看了一场电影!

essentially, the whole sentence became 与其到处闲逛,还看了一场电影!

obviously, it is wrong. when there is 与其, you have to continue the sentence with 不如. Its like a pair of connectors in a sentence...for instance 'Just as...., so.....' but i took 与其 as the name of a girl! hahaha. so it means this girl, by the name of Yuqi, not only window-shopped, but also caught a movie!

......

if we could have names like 小丽 or 小明, why cant we have 与其??? sounds nice mah, no meh?

......

please dont roll your eyes at me. hahahhaa.

officially missing you
